Navigating College Admission Essays: Strategies and Support
Writing essays for college applications is a challenge. I remember agonizing over my own many, many years ago, and have gone through the process with my own teens. While my kids don’t seem to want my advice ;), I would love to help you craft an essay that effectively communicates to colleges everywhere how lucky they would be to have YOU!
Strategies, encouragement, and sustained support are key to any successful writing project. With a Ph.D. in English, Rhetoric and Composition, I have been teaching college level writing for 20+ years. I have developed and participated in sessions to calibrate evaluation of student writing, and, maybe most importantly, I have read and given feedback on 100’s of essays. I would be happy to share my experience and facilitate a supportive climate for additional advice to take YOU to the next chapter of YOUR education.
